What? their 21st year? half a million people in attendance? closing down 24 blocks of downtown L.A.? free entrance? so where was I during the previous 20?
Sure sure, it’s a Latin event maybe that’s why I didn’t know about it, BUT with that much pull to actually close down a huge part of downtown L.A. to house an estimated 500,000 attendees and all for free, the 21st Annual Fiesta Broadway 2010 should be pretty hard to ignore. If I am able to get updates about the condition of our neighbor’s nephew’s sick cat who lives somewhere in canada, how did something as big as this flew under my radar?
Anyway, here are some photos taken at yesterday’s event:
Few of the performers were the Los Macuanos, King Coya, Eric Bobo of cypress hill & DJ Rhettmatic, B-Side Players and the Nortec Collective’s Bostich + Fussible. A great day of Latin music and culture!
